Where is the best place to go scuba diving?

Answers:
The Red Sea in Egypt is disputably the best scuba diving location in the world.

Dahab and Sharm El Sheikh are good bases to look at starting from, but the range of dives in the area are sublime!
Depends on what you want to see.probably Caribbean or the land down under and the great coral reefs surrounding it! :~)
deep water
Anywhere around Broome and the general top end of Western Australia.
sosua, dominican republic

The Great Barrier Rief is absolutely amazing to go diving!!There is soooo much to see and everyhing is so beautiful. My second choice is the Red Sea in Egypt, although make sure you go with a reputable company.
The Caribbean and south Florida has very clear and calm waters, all year round.
I had a subscription to scuba diving magazine..they rave about the waters in Mexico,Hawaii, and the waters off the coast of the Galapagos Islands.
The best dive site I've been to is Sharm el Sheik Egypt superb viz and wildlife, lots of facilities and opportunity's to dive would also love to try the Caribbean or Great barrier reef got to be amazing

I learned to dive in Fremantle, near Perth in Western Australia, and went back to Oz to dive off the Great Barrier Reef last summer. Both times I was surrounded by divers who swear the best place on earth to dive is the Ningaloo Reef, in northern Western Australia. I plan to go soon, before the secret gets out and it turns into a theme park like the Barrier Reef!
The Great Barrier Reef

Unequivocally the Bay Islands off the coast of Honduras - the reason being that they are one of the cheapest places in the world to undertake scuba diving courses and to go on dives and the area has the second largest Barrier Reef in the world after Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

There are three islands off the coast of Honduras which tend to attract divers - Roatan, Guanaja, or Utila

BTW Been there and seen it for myself..
The best place to go scuba diving is a location at the north end of the Great Bahama Bank, its dive sites are unsurpassed. The Tongue of the Ocean, a deep oceanic trench that drops to 6,000 feet and extends to the south for more than 100 miles, wraps around the western side of New Providence, providing mile after mile of stunning wall dives. The island also offers easily accessible shallow reefs and an armada of wrecks on both its northern and southwestern sides.

Most diving is done on shallow- to medium-depth reefs, where several excellent wrecks are found.

So again it is THE BAHAMAS

GO DIVING !!!
in mauritius island! there's a place called 'le coin de mire'. its is among the best places in the world!
The Maldives in the Indian Ocean or the Red Sea
Off the whitsunday islands. There seemed more fish to see than the Barrier reef. Depends on the location and time of day i suppose
Florida is the best place in the world to go scuba diving. Either that or in the Caribbean where the waters are crystal clear. I wish I was you.
in a sink.

Sharm el sheik in southern Egypt.
Anywhere in the Var region. Try the gorgeous Iles d'Or, near Hyeres. The most beautiful turquoise water in Provence.

Guam----lots of planes and ships from WW2 to explore.
On the north east coast of Jamaica you will find a scenic little town called Port Antonio. Its waters are a protected nature conservation and its the most beautiful part of the island for diving. Other features of the area are the world famous Blue Lagoon and a few lovely Italian restaurants due to the large number of Europeans living in the town. Dive shops can be found in the town centre or through local tourist board offices and hotels.
