Brighton, its amazing, i love it!! anyone else?

Answers:
I love Brighton. "London by sea" is the alias. Wonderful, colourful and great. Doctors in yesteryear prescribed Brighton as part of the treatment for patients because for its good air! "Brighton air will do him/her a lot of good!" they used to say. Lovely cultural zones (the lanes etc). and lovely periphery scenery. Go for it.
its OK
Never been there but I am going to the Scissor Sisters next month. Really looking forward to it.

If you have been to Mamma Cheries and have any comments to make can you let me know by mail?
i have never been, unbelievably! will make a point of doing though, next summer
I live in Brighton. :)

It's fantastic, very laid back and multicultural. To the person who mentioned Mamma Cherie's unless you go in the day, you're looking at a 3 month booking time.

Tons of other fantastic restaurants though - Englishes is great if you like fish, and Little Preston Street (aka, food street) has many great places to eat.

Just don't buy anything in the Laines.slightly overpriced.
i love palace pier in brighton even in winter
dreadful, dirty, overcrowded, overpriced place! Watch out for the pigeons and seagulls - they can be deadly accurate! And don't stand still in one spot for too long or you'll sink into the layer of discarded chewing gum.

The "Big Issue" vendors are very friendly!
I went there last week, it's a brilliant place, I'd quite happily live there! North Laine is cool, I spent nearly all my time there, it's wierd & wonderful, just like me!! lol
Brightons Brilliant!
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
and to whoever mentioned momma cherries, my mates godmother IS momma Cherita. they've got a bigger place now so might not be as much wait,
Brighton is such a good place to be if you're a teenager :)
brighton rocks! the pier.the shops.!
the lanes are the best place, the north lanes! i live nearby, and try to go whenever i can - EVERYONE GO TO BRIGHTON!
Its not bad but there are other places I enjoy more.

When I was young (OK I know it was a loooong time ago) Brighton was much nicer, less commercial and sort of cozy. Now, like many resorts it is over commercialied and its difficult to distinguish it from many other seaside resorts.
I came to Brighton 7 yrs ago for a weekend with my wife and we liked it so much we ended up living here. You tend to find the friendlier bars and restraints as time goes by, but now we would not live anywhere else in the UK.
