How do i find India House in London. The address is Aldwych but is that a big place? Cheers.?

Answers:
Aldwych is a crescent-shaped block; the flat south side addresses are still Strand, India House is on the curved north side. It is impossible to miss as it has carved elephant heads and roundels featuring the symbols of Indian states on it, as well as a flag. It does not take long at all to walk the whole length of Aldwych.
Have you done a search on the internet - they might have a map or directions?
Look it up on a directory on the internet and (yell.com or 118118.com) and phone them up and ask them.
get on the bus or tube to aldwych, then ask a policeman, traffic warden etc they will be happy to help you, that's what they get paid for.

or why not buy an a-z they are quite useful.

also aldwych is not all that big

hope you don't get lost

If that is the place you are looking for then I suggest doing a journey planner on the travel for london website the best way to do it is get a train or tube to aldwych station and then walk from there. There is no point in driving round london unless you know exactly where you are going becuase the drivers tend to be erratic and not very friendly to thsoe who are lost.

Another good site to give you a street map is www.streetmap.com this will give you a plan on how to get there from whichever tube station you get off at

Hope this helps.
The nearest tube or mainline station is Charing Cross. If you can get there you will be fine.

Come out of Charing Cross and turn left and keep walking down the strand. You will eventually (about 5-10 mins) get to Aldwych. It is signposted and easy to find. India House is on the right hand sign. Here is a link to the map. http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?c. It is easy to find, good luck.
India house is next to Australia house (australia house is at the waterloo bridge end of aldwych)
If you know the address, find it on an A-Z or multimap http://www.multimap.com/ .
Walking from Charing Cross, it's just before you get to Dirty Dancing, on the right.
