Whats Da Difference. . . . . ??!?

Hey im from ireland, and 4 people who live in America wats da differance in high skool and Middle Skool? Do Tell. . . . . . . . .

Answers:
middle school is grades 6-8 and high school is grades 9-12. Once you start high school is when you start really preparing for college and you also have more freedom...freedom to choose the classes to take and freedom to not have to walk in lines anymore.

Edit: When a child is 4 they go to pre-school for a year, then its Kindergarten, then 1-5 grade. Those schools are called Elementary schools.
middle school is generally grades 6-8. High school is 9-12.
High school is senior school the one before you leave to go into the "real world" middle school is junior school.
middle sCHool (or junior high in some areas) is usually 6th-8th grade and High School (do they really spell skool that way in Ireland?) is usually 9th -12th grade
Well middle school is 5th and 6th grade, junior high is 7th and 8th grade and hight school is 9th thru 12th grade.
High school is 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade middle schol is 5th-8th grade
I must admit i am curious about this, we dont have grades here, we have year1 to 12
Highschool is 9th grade thru 12th grade.

A student in private school can stay in the same school from Kindergarten until 8th grade and then continue to h.s. in a different school because private elementary schools usually continue until 8th grade. So like myself, I never went to Middle School.

Public elementary schools however usually end at 6th grade, then students go to a middle school for 7th and 8th before hs.

Got it?
Grades K-6 are in a elementary school
