I think they ask at the airport if you have ever been convicted of a crime of "Moral Turpitude".

Chu v. Cornell, 247 F.2d 929 (9th Cir. 1957), cert. denied 355 U.S. 892 (1958). Administrative case law has characterized moral turpitude as "a nebulous concept, which refers generally to conduct that shocks the public conscience." Obviously, offenses such as murder, voluntary manslaughter, kidnaping, robbery, and aggravated assaults involve moral turpitude. However, assaults not involving dangerous weapons or evil intent have been held not to involve moral turpitude."

A section 18 Assault Wounding with intent, would probably be a crime of Moral Turpitude, whereas a s47 Assualt occasioning Actual Bodily harm would definately not be.

So the answer to your question is yes you can go for the weekend. When they ask you the Moral Turpitude question, your answer should be "No".

Have a nice day..
If you have a police record then you have problems..stop beating people up you thug!
sure you can but no fighting
Are you on probabtion? If not, then it shouldnt be a problem.
Have you met my Nan?
Be sure to visit some of NYC's world-reknowned public housing projects. You'll fit right in.
If you have a warrant for your arrest for the bodily harm, no. I would check with an international lawyer and see what the statue of limitations is.
im sure you wil fit in great . lol .
I work as a travel agent and am told to tell all clients travelling to the USA if you have been arrested for a crime even if not convicted then you may need a visa. I would check with the embassy.
The USA does not welcome mindless thugs to it's shores. Stay home and get help. You refer to 'actual bodily harm' like it's a parking violation.
it should be spent by now!
