Which part of Glasgow would you recommend to live in?
Answers:
Glasgow is lovely,
Pollockshields is leafy with wide streets and huge numbers of trees and many parks and 8 minutes from city centre.
Bearsden or Milngavie are full of pretty bungalows and families with good schools. they are about 20 mins from centre on north side.
newton mearns is quite nice but a bit far out.
Stepps has lots of new houses and young families and is 10 minutes from centre. if you buy a new one there get one from the North lanarkshire bit of the new estate as the rates are much lower.

it all depends what your finance is like....if you are moving from south England you can go any where in Glasgow
are you joking!
no where
The Central station, so you can get out quick.
West end is a lovely part.
Surely you are not moving there out of choice?
Hey! Glasgow is a lovely place to stay ( as long as you have a gun by your side and you are prepared to use it !) Come and stay near me - Mount Vernon. the safest place in Glasgow .. The Godfather Tam "The Licencee" McGraw stays round the corner in Carrick Drive - so he keeps the Scum out of the area. It has a lovely wee primary School - which just scored 10/10 in a Government Inspection - and there is no Tenement Blocks or gangs of mad Junkies..Garrowhill is not bad either .. The downside is Shettelston is just a couple of miles down the road - seemimgly 8/10 people in Shettleston are on the sick..Dont stop at the traffic lights though zoom right through.Good Luck
