I have just returned from Liguria and the Italian Riviera. it was my first vist and I went not knowing a word of Italian. I was given a wonderful welcome and i enjoyed it so much. I found the Italians were like the Irish, open, welcoming, talkative, friendly and very willing to communicate in whatever language worked I just loved my first visit. I did learn a little of that beautiful language while I was there.

No, I went to Italy on vacation about 20 years ago. Italy is marvelous, enchanting and the historical aspects are fascinating.
I think Italy is great. I've been there several times. The countryside is beautiful and people are friendly. The food is wonderful. Lots of art and history too. Italy is one of my favorite countries!
I have been to Italy about 8 times.
On my last trip I lost my wallet in Rome.
Had food poisoning there too.
Lost the key toa security box and had to wait 7 hours to have it drilled out.
Had my luggage stolen in Florence
Nearly fell in the canal in Venice.
I'm not going back unless I meet a very pretty Italian lady.
Oh, they are all very pretty!
I went touring around northern Italy, it was great, especially around Lake Garda, beautiful place, Given the chance and having the money to do it I would move there, Motorist in Verona was a bit made tho, it was like wacky races, but cool!
best country in the world,great food,fabulous people,awsome sights I have visited Sardinia,Rome,Naples,Pisa,Flor. all on separate trips havent found one dislike yet. If you havent been you are missing out
