Hundred statues beside mersey outside LIVERPOOL on beach what are they called ?

Answers:
Yeah saw that on the news too.THE IRON MEN is what the collection is called.
People were also dressing them in hats and scarves.
Ooh, there was something about this in the paper yesterday.think they're being removed because too many people are getting stuck in quick sand etc while going out to look at them.

Think you mean the Antony Gormely statues. They're on Crosby beach. Think the whole set up is called 'Iron Men'
A nuisance to sailors and fishermen.

There are a few pics of the Iron Men on Google Images too.
Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' has been in situ on the beach at Crosby since July 2005. It was always intended to be a temporary exhibit (that ends this month). I guess it will move on to another location in Europe.
