Nannying is a fab job, and if it would interest you and you have experience-ish you could find yourself in demand as a male nanny. Have been to the oyster festival in Antigua, to Italy, America, Eurodisney, etc, all while being paid! If your not looking to leave immediately why not look into doing a ski season? There's all sorts of jobs available; nannying, obvsiously as well as cooking, cleaning etc, or working on a cruise ship is another where there a heap of things you could do depending on your skills and experience, I'm afraid I don't have any specific ads for you but try googling the well known companies, Work Your Way Round the World is a good book, try your library, if you can afford to volunteer try the guardian social care section (weds I think, might be tue though). Good luck, I hope you get out of what you want.
If you're only going abroad for a short period (3 - 6 months) then here's something for you to take into consideration for when you RETURN.

Your National Insurance contributions curretly permit you to make claim for contributory social security benefits - providing you have actual paid contributions in the relevant tax years. By going abroad (unless you work for a UK company and they deduct from you and pay your N.I. contributions there will be a gap in your contribution record. This may not affect you immediately on return, but could do 1 year or 2 down the line in the event that you need to claim an N.I. contributory benefit like for instance Job Seekers Allowance.

A gap in your N.I. contributions could in the longer term affect your entitlement to a full State Retirement Pension.
Try working your way around Europe. There are hundreds of seasonal jobs and plenty of people doing it.

Try getting Work Your Way Around the World by Susan Griffith. Its very very useful.

Good Luck

Type " short term employment overseas agency" into your search bar.
Or "working abroad short term"
Just play with the words till you find what you need.
Bet it works
take a trip to Dubai and try your hand at construction work there.
