Are things cheaper in Holland?
I am going on Weds for a few days - is it worth doing a bit of Christmas shopping?

you lucky thing! Yes, things are cheaper , clothing, gifts ect, lovely little street markets in all towns and Amsterdam. Beautiful hand made clogs are a popular buy, a visit to the diamond factory in Amsterdam usually throws up a few bargins. Also watch out for street artists displaying their art work, oil paintings can usaully be picked up for a few euros. Have fun!

Definately not cheaper but you can always find some unique gifts from Holland, (Wow, one of the most beautiful places in europe) anywhere I have found in europe prices do go up compared to your american dollar. (enjoy holland)
