It used to be worse.. After all the steel industry was closed down it was bare.. Its coming on now.
Europeans just don't care about cleanliness.

Sheffield's city centre as suffered since the Meadowhall Shopping Centre opened,hence the run down shopping areas.
The land within the inner ring was designated a landfill area ?
The center has Gone massively Down Hill in the Past 20 Years!
There has been an attempt to re-develop the center with the Peace Gardens and Winter Gardens!
This Does Not detract from the Numerous years Of Neglect and Financial mis-management from the Local Council!
Add too Much CCTV,Meadowhall and You have a recipe for Inner-City decline!

We went shopping there last year. I didn't mind the place but there was very little to do. I hated Meadow Hall. It was full of badly behaved teenagers.
