What's the best way to get around Boston and Lexington?
Answers:
For Boston, the T (subway) is probably best. The subway has stops near most everything you'd want to see.
For Lexington (and Concord), you probably want to have a car, but can "rough" it if you want via bus, etc (check MBTA.com)
Myself, I've always driven to Lexington. But was fine walking, taking the T, or biking in Boston.
Boston has the L tube also good bus service there is also a ferry service n the harbour . and of course lots of walking which is the best way to see things say hello to fair field market
We used the ferry in Boston but drove everywhere else with no trouble.Lexington is about 30 minutes drive from Boston. You will love this part of the States, the people are friendly and helpful.
Directly in Boston you can use the train (the T) but if you want to go to Lexington there are some T Buses but you might want to rent a car because the buses can be tricky- odd times, drop offs, etc and Lexington is pretty big for a suburb. You'll love it once you're there though, it's so pretty. Have fun!

The MBTA (aka - the "T")!
Rent a car.

The T
Dont drive, the roads are always busy. Use public transport, it goes pretty much everywhere.
