What is the best way to commute from Frome, Somerset to Aldermaston?

I am likely to be working 08:30 - 5, but these are flexible 30 mins each way. Open to suggestions by car, train etc.

Answers:
Surprisingly, there are trains that will take you between the two.

According to First Great Western, there is a 6.30 train from Frome that gets into Aldermaston (via Westbury and Newbury) at 8.08. In the afternoon, you can get a 17.23 or 17.49 train , both of which will get you to Frome at 19.38.

These journeys of 1hour 38mins and 1hour 49mins compare quite well with the car journey of 72 miles (1hour 36mins according to the AA).

So, you have a choice - it's up to you which way you prefer to travel, how the costs compare, and whether you can trust the trains to run on time!

Have you thought about moving closer to work?!
Got to AA routemaster and it will give you the quickest route.
