Has anyone been to Gardaland theme park in Italy?
planning to go next year with a 7 and 9 year old early July. any feedback e.g. quality of rides, queues etc - anything!!
Answers:
I have many times.. It is wonderful and the setting makes it all the much better. The only problem is that it is quite crowded as it is also an attraction to many German and Swiss tourists.
Apart from that, it is a typical theme park, so be prepared to spend a bit more for food, drink etc..
The rides are a lot of fun, even for young ones.and hey.if they do not like Gardaland ( which I doubt ) you are already on Lake Garda which is spectacular and very clean.
If you want, join my group on Italy ( link is below ) and I will do a special on Gardaland.
ENJOY!
We went to Lake Garda last year. Didn't go to Gardaland, but drove past it on our way to the water park which is close to it. Which I definitely recommend!
There's also a movie theme park, Medieval Times ( a really good laugh!) and a Rock and Roll Restaurant. You can get passes to all four!
Skip Gardaland and go there!
rides are nice, i didn't try it all (too much), queues can be very long according with the fair .
i can suggest you not to go in weekend 'cause there is more crowd.
Yes, I go every year, because I live in Italy! it is fantastic!
sure!it's just far less than an hour from my house so i went there often.it's very funny expecially for kids wich can play many games and attraction but also nice for parents because everything is well cured and setted in a beautiful way( there's so much green!).
english language is also very used along with the doich one.and it's surely better than mine! I swear!
i've never tried the evening actractions but i'm sure that these are very coloured and spectacoular.enjoy it!
I've been there 2 times, it's not as big as Disney world but it's great and the children love it! I went there with my younger sister and her friends and they liked the most the rides that included something with water and the theme rides such as Old Egypt or Pirates.
I liked the most the Palablu, a dolphin show, don't miss it! There are 3 or 4 shows daily and you have to pay the entrance, but it's not expensive, the last time I was there it costed around 3 euros.
Have a nice time!
