Alaska in the winter
I have only seen them once in my life, I live in Northern Michigan. Once you see them, you will never forget them! I understand that in Alaska they see them all the time and that's because they are closer to the glaciers that reflect these lights. So pack up your gear and get to Alaska! (kidding). Check with astronomers on the internet (astronomy.com or google it) for the best place and time for your area.Good Luck and I hope you see them someday!
Norway or Finland probably the most convienient, not sure about the best time of year but will have to be in the Winter months because of the daylight hours in Summer, i have been to Greenland at all times of the year and never seen them, good luck
I live in Canada and in the winter in some of the smaller norther cities you can see then perfectly. They can change colours and "dance"
