Id stay in cali, lol.. minus watch the natural disasters thats are about to occur within the next ten years, that state will soon be under water, or massivly f'd up. Believe me or not, i dont care, i dont live there, just a prewarning.

It gets very, very dark in the sky. Bats comes out and flit about. In counties that are not "dry", bars open and sell alcoholic beverages. Mexicans dance & play their guitars.

It depends on what you like and where you live. If you are in one of the busy cities you may be able to find something to do, you have to read and be up city events and you will find something to do.
It sure is not much in Maggie Valley. We have to make our own night life. Of course, here in the Smoky Mountains, the wildlife adds quite a bit to the nightlife.
