I'd like to be an airline pilot. Which airlines have non-national training arrangements?
I'd really like to be an airline pilot but as is usual, the finances arent exactly chicken feed. I am african, black african and I think of myself as being intelligent and good to work with.
Most of the airlines I know that offer the cadet training for ab initio pilot training only train nationals from their own countries.
I would want to know if there is an airline in the world which can accept to train someone for ATPL or CPL with Instrument Rating in exchange for a working bond in favour of the airline for a specific number of years.
If there is, please let me have the airline URL or any form of contacts.
Thank you.

You have a good question my friend, its something i want to do myself. I dont know where you are writing from though so it's a little hard to give advice but ill try anyway. I already work in aviation on the flight planning side so I have one or two friends in the know.
Unfortunately I do not know of any airline in the world that would offer a "working" bond as you speak. Some of the commerical carriers such as British Airways, Lufthansa, Ryanair or British European, will take on pilots under the age of 26 with a PPL and will sponsor them through the CPL until you get three rings.
As I say I dont know where you are writing from but my advice to you would be to take a job around your local airport. I started at check-in and ticket sales before moving upstairs into flight operations. I am now 28 and am saving up for my PPL and because Ive been around a few years I know some people who can help me out. Like you, im not exactly swimming in dollars but it is possible.
