NO, but i make bye feet the Camino de Cruses!
walking it is much more relaxing and comfortable.
when i did it i was so tired i got a helicopter back to cusco for $80.then straight into the irish pub for refreshments.
By horse!?? Never heard of that. Its much more fun walking.
I have done the trail, it was back in 2000, at the time there was talk of horses and muels being banned as they were eroding the track too much. You should look into it first.
If you are fit enough, walk it and enjoy it.
I did part of the trail on hors-back, but the walking was much more interesting. Go for it, you wont regret it. Its an amazing experience.
I walked it last year and didn't see many horses, parts of the route I imagine would be scary to ride! I say walk it, us people are eroding the trail enough anyway but horses will make it worse.

You will love it.
