What is the most economical way of going to see the Big Five animals on an African Game Reserve?
Answers:
The Sabi Sands game reserve is one of the good bets if you want to see the big five. It forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park, and has plenty animals. Some of the well known South African Game Reserves are located here. Most people fly to a place called Nelspruit or Hoedspruit and either catch a chartered shuttle flight or rent a vehicle. My personal best time seeing the entire Big 5 was one hour in this area.
Please enjoy your stay if you go, and I hope you see what you're after!!
Try
The south African national bird of prey centre in Johannesburg
ask for Trevor Ortel. ( He will know someone )
Hope this helps.
Go to a zoo.
Apart from London Zoo, The Safest way is with a respectable travel agent.
If you manage to get all the travel issues sorted out, don't lodge when you get there, camp out instead. It's more down with nature and a lot cheaper.
You will need a vehicle in any of the game parks. The cheapest option would most probably be to fly to Durban and then a car to Hluhluwe game reserve. (It is a national park and fairly cheap).
To get THE MOST ourt of a trip, I would however advise a guided trip.
