Were is the best place to go for christmas in the sun?
looking for somewhere to go for christmas hols thats not outrageously expensive but is reasonably warm and sunny

Warm and sunny and very cheap for eating out and having a good time. Trouble is the air fair is around £500 return.
Otherwise Tenerife with the air fare at about £120 and an average temp over December of 19 degrees C.
I would also guess that Morocco or Tunisia or Egypt are also nice and warm.
Well, if money's not an issue, I would go to Punta Cana in Domincan Republic or the Bazaruto Archipelago, just off Mozambique. I've never been to either but if I were loaded I'd be there in a flash - looks absolutely fab!
Morocco is your best bet if you want cheap & cheerful.
If you want a less expensive option then the US/Caribbean, then the Canaries are always a good option.
Having said that, Jamaica is good! Christmas out there would be very cool indeed.

I spent Christmas in Bali about 5 years ago. It was beautiful. You can hunt around for bargains.
