Is there a website where you can browse for flights without having to specify a destination?

Answers:
lastminute.com
sorry, can't help - i was looking for the same sort of thing! I ended up going to the Travel agents and they had a list of flights but they still take a cut of the commission.
Try one of the travel companies like First Choice or Monarch. The problem you have is that you are just looking for a cheap flight anywhere. When you get to the site use the search and put that in
The ThomsonFly farefinder will let you browse through their current prices to everywhere in ascending order for a given departure point. You can choose to specify a month too.

Skyscanner will tell you which are the cheapest available flights from any departure point from a big range of airlines

You cannot get details and times and prices of flights if you don't know your destination, my friend. A flight to Edinburgh costs much less than a flight to Sydney!
try looking up different airlines and see their schedule of flights (delta, america west..)
good luck
