With bombs going off in Turkey injuring british holiday makers, is it safe to go anywhere abroad?
Answers:
no
Ironically belfast is the safest, it has always been way ahead of the game with anti terrorist measures.
Also, go to a country with little or no minorities like Japan
Australia.
The USA
France
Germany
Norway
Denmark (actually all of scandanavia)
Mongolia.
South America.
Easter Island.
All pretty safe places (and I could go on). Stop being such a big girls blouse and believing the hype you read in the media!
no !!!
stick to ure own backyard,..pitch up a tent, and dig an air raid shelter to escape to, ..just incase :o)
If you stay home you could get blown up in London, I think people should just take a chance
3,000 killed on the roads in this country every year. You'd better stay in.
NO lock your door's
I'd rather live my life than die of Red Bus Disease.
Nowhere is safe, even home. Chances of been killed or maimed in a terrorist bombing are very slim though, you're still more likely to come to harm driving.
No, you better stay home and hide under your bed.
hmm Turkiye is still a safe place bomb attacks happen like in London or Spain, NY and stuff ,l but i wouldn't recommend anyone goin to Iraq Israel Iran around those areas.

It kind of depends on whether you want to live your life in fear and basically roll over and let terrorists win.
If the answer is 'no', then go wherever you like!
i dont think so. you just never know what might happen and where it might happen. but i guess when our time is up our time is up. we cant live in fear and just stay at home all the time. we only get one life so we gotta live it good and enjoy ourselves!
You can't live life like that or you would never go anywhere.
I.m afraid that I am a true brit and think if people went on hols in the UK. They would be safe and Britain would be a lot better off
It's not safe to sit home either! I want to have an October vacation somewhere so yes, I will go abroad.
Obviously not Malaga (if you're Asian) - for the Brit. commoners'll get you herded out of the plane and taken to the police station by gunpoint.
If your afraid to go anywhere you'll just stay indoors. Go have fun, don't let these people **** up your holiday.
If your going to die their is nothing you can do about it.
Its more dangerous to drive/ride in a car......
Skegness - just makesure you have your jabs first!
No all you Brits, please plese please stay at home, with your soccer shirts and pasty white skin and drunken antics and slutty fat women
Well, u can decide to stay off the tourist-laden spots and try my beloved Philippines.
Sure, we have our own tourist magnets here but most of my beautiful country remains unexplored (thanks to our inept tourism officials and exaggerated travel advisories from the US).
If you are a history and culture buff, there are our 15th century Spanish-era landmarks and the unequalled splendor of the towering Banawe Rice terraces.
We have some of the worlds finest beaches (Dakak, Fort Ilocandia, Pagudpud, Boracay, Pearl Farms, El Nido, Club Noah, and hundreds more yet unnamed and undeveloped) and the tropical sunset is simply breathtaking.
Lost in Translation is no good here as 60 percent of my countrymen speak good English and the rest understand the language very well.
But don't take my word for it. check on-line or ask around for people who have really been here.
Everywhere has had the threats of bombing or bombs going off over the years but everyone still travels there as the media coverage has died down on it!
Don't be put off by traveling as its the greatest feeling ever and if you are going to be put off by the people who planted the bombs that means they have got what they have won!
I'm not scared I'm still going to Turkey in 20 days and counting! i cant wait!
With bombs and bomb threats in Britain - it's no different here. The only sure way of avoiding things is to never see the light of day! But I'd rather take the risk and experience the world than live my life as a total hermit.
Well, Turkey is a Muslim infested country, so I would adivsed against that a long time. I think most places are safe. You cant live your life based on terrorists. Otherwise you are letting them win. Afterall, there objective is to make us feel unsafe and change our lives for the worst. Think about it, How many tourists have been killed vs how many have travelled. Its in the millions to one. Just do what you wish, but avoid countries with a large Muslim influence.
Terrorism is everywhere. I live in Turkey but I was afraid to go into the town centre today. So. even if I was living in London, if there were bombings, I wouldn't get out of the house =P
There are definately places that I might think twice about going to and admittedly there are places that are more prone to destruction and violence than others, but when I read things about how people are sitting in their living rooms or just driving down the road and are shot and killed by a bullet not intened for them I have to ask myself..Is anyplace really "safe"? and having said that I have to believe that when it is your time it is your time. I refuse to live my life in fear of what "might" happen.
No were is safe now
If we stop going anywhere abroad, haven't the terrorists won? We should carry on and still go wherever we want. We mustn't let the terrorists feel they have the power to stop us from travelling and enjoying everything the world has to offer
