Answers:
You could probably get an emergency one. Contact your local passport office. Good luck at least you've got a week to sort it out.

For clear advice and information call UK
Passport Information on 0871 918 1655
get in touch eith passport people
Go to the Passport agency and tell them you may get a replacement if you hang there all day !
Phone the Foreign Ministry and ask them. Also you may chance it and just bring your social security card (if any) and something with your photo on it.
Thats a bugger,at least you dont have to go to france now
As the above Contact your Passport Issueing Authority and the should issue you with Emergency travel documentation, ensure you advise them of the urgency. If you are overseas contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate for your Country of residence. Remember take a photocopy of your Passport next time, it sure helps in cases where you need to notify Authorities or get a replacement.

go to the post office and get a 1 year passport usually issued on the same day
u will have to go to the nearest passport place with all the forms correctly filled in and wait a couple of hours till they make u a new one, hope u make it
You could travel with your ID card
report it to the police and contact the passport office and they may be able to issue you with a new one
Actually, you might not need your passport to get INTO France. For example, if you are taking the ferry or entering through one of the Channel Ports, there are no passport controls on the French side. However, there are passport controls at airports - and, more importantly, you won't be allowed back into Britain without your passport.

Peversely, though, the French have made it compulsory for all foreign nationals in France to carry an ID card at all times. And as we don't have a national ID card, they tend to insist on seeing . your passport!
contact this web site and phone number (1-877-487-2778) for help. you may need to hire a courier to walk the application through.
