how much time do i need remaining on my passport to go there?
Answers:
41 countries do not need visa for 1 month stay
You don't need a visa for Thailand
You will need at least 6 months on your passport if you are travelling long haul
Have a good trip
No visa, you can take a holiday for 2 weeks.
probably depends on the nationality of your passport, but if you hold a US passport, you do not need a visa. there is a Visa desk when you arrive at the Bangkok airport, but I have never had to use it. You certainly do not need to apply in advance at an embassy for that type of visa.
NO you get a visa when you arrive the passport control staple it to your passport ,then they take it back when you leave you dont pay , but you do pay 500bhat deprature tax when you leave ,make sure you have the right money they wont give you change ( you get a 500 note) i think it,s @ 6 months on you passport i have been 5 times so if you need to know anything else contact me
enjoy your trip !!!
It depends on where your passport was issued or what nationality you are. For U. S. citizen, or passport issued in the U.S., you don't need a visa as long as your passport is valid for the next 6 months. And depending on where you will go to Thailand, you might also want to check if you need any kind of immunization - to be on the safe side.
If you have a British passport then you will not need a visa, I would assume you would need 6 months or more left on your passport.
Hi. I went to Thailand two years ago. no need for a visa. but you do need six months clear in your passport. I'm from the UK. Buy your clothes out their, prices are very good compared to us. Have a good time. it's hot in that part of the world.
NO you can spend 21 days there before you need a visa.have a good holiday
i think its depending on your nationality.
i am japanese and i dont have to get a visa if i stay there for less than 3 months.
No you dont, i went for three weeks without one. My girlfriend went for six weeks and she had to have one. You will love it by the way, its a brillient place. Oh by the way, if you go to Bangkok, and want to visit the Grand Palace, just remember that it is open 365 days of the year, it wont be shut for presidents day or anything like that. The taxi drivers will try to con you out of going in there, and to go on a waste of time trip round jewlers and suit makers etc. Yes i got conned
