Can I still exchange french franks for sterling?
Answers:
I don't think you can exchange French francs for anything but euros. Furthermore, the following are the only 8 bills you can exchange, and you may have to go to an office of the "Banque de France" (see the second link in sources).
amount / image on bill / limit date
500F Pascal 2/28/2007
200F Montesquieu 3/31/2008
100F Delacroix 1/31/2009
500F Pierre et Marie Curie 2/17/2012
200F Gustave Eiffel 2/17/2012
100F Cézanne 2/17/2012
50F Saint Exupery 2/17/2012
20F Debussy 2/17/2012
nope
Yes you can.
nope maybe you can still exchange them into Euros but I doubt it.
Yes, unless they are really old ones, but I think the more recent issues will be ok still.
Try a Halifax Bank.
Sure you can but finding an interested buyer will be quite a challenge. Good luck. Do you have over a million or less than that?
Unfortunatly no, as the currency for France is no longer the French Franc, it is now the Euro.
