Funny story.
In the early 80's my parents went to Malta on holiday. They used to sell a lot of old artifects left over from WW2 there at the time. My brother bought an old decomissioned British hand grenade (he still has it).
When they went to the airport my mother actually had the hand grenade in her hand, waving it up above her head, and went to security with it saying "its ok its not real"..
Amazingly they let her on the flight with it. What do you think would happen now if someone tried that?

lol.that is a funny story. It's amazing how much things have changed. Today, she would probably be tackled by a swat team, shackled, strip searched, and confined to a tiny cell while they processed her as a terroristic threat to society.she would be branded for life!
They would probably hold her a gun point when she raised it in the air!

I imagine they would be knocked to the ground, held at gunpoint with search dogs barking in their faces, pulled up and handcuffed. Then they would be led away to a little room where they would be intensely questioned with no lawyers present, and charges would no doubt be filed.
she'd be pounced on by armed police & all your family would be carted away for questioning if of course the police aren't operating a shoot on sight policy!

Probably get jumped by the staff. Hey, now that you say that, I saw a guy piloting what looked like a small LST in a Dutch canal and probably got it the same way. Worked fine, too.
The probably would have cavity searched her immediately.

I think gypsy rose is the closest, but I think charges would not be filed. For the people who think it wouldn't go down this way, did you read about the Indians in Amsterdam? The entire plane was emergency landed and they were detained, questioned and searched, for using laptops and sharing cell phones.
