Where do portenos go to dance tango on a Saturday evening in Buenos Aires?

Having spent several weeks in BA dancing almost every night, I now have a firm idea of where portenos (and not tourists) go to dance, except for Saturday night. I know people go to Sunderland but, if I go without a partner, I have been told that I will not dance.Any suggestions?

Hi JUDE

well, try http://www.tangodata.gov.ar/ingles/. ( the official site for tango in BA) and click in MILONGAS link ( menu) , then you may to select the places or neighborhood of BA where you will encounter MILONGAs or TANGO DANCE.

I recommend, before, contact them , by telephone or email
or also, contact with TANGODATA, they has many information about MILONGAs for foreigners ..

HAVE FUN ! enjoy BA
