What can you do in central Moscow to entertain yourself? Any ideas?

Answers:
There is so much, where do you begin? If you're into sports then there are six football teams to watch as well as numerous ice hockey teams. There are dozens of interesting museums(ranging from museum of metro, to police and army museums even museums of writers) and art galleries. You can see Lenin, see st Basil's and the Kremlin, though this can be expensive. There are lots of clubs and bars to go to, some western style ones are expensive. Russians use the Kruzhka chain, which is cheap (about 70p for a pint) and it serves good priced food too. There are lots of wonderful restaurants to choose from. Though miss out the top end ones as they ARE expensive. You can choose to go to the theatre, ballet or opera, even the circus if you want to. Get souvenirs from the Arbat or Izmailovsky market, great Soviet type stuff or cheap DVDs. Hey, you could even just go for a walk in he parks at kolomenskaja or Alexandrovsky sad. buy or rent a guide book for more info.
Drink heavily and get ripped off.
Try waving the American flag around, the entertainment is sure to follow.
build an army of snowmen.about 10,000 strong should keep you busy for a while
drink vodka
Relax,get satisfaction in Moscow
