Skin Creams in hand luggage? Am oi Allowed Due To Skin Condition?

Ok, so i have a flight planned from the UK to San Francisco next week and have moderate-severe psoriasis and need to take moisteriser on the plane in my hand luggage to use throughout the flight or basically my skin becomes unbearably itchy, cracks and bleeds. I dont get my emolient from the doctor as it is cheaper to buy without prescription - so how do i get around this? Doctors letter maybe? Or because my flight changes in France to go to USA does this mean i can buy moisteriser when i change flights there? Anyone know for sure? As two people at the airline im booked with are telling me different things. Help!

check tsa.gov. I believe that there is an allowed minimum of "liquid-like" items that can be onboard with you. Prescriptions meds should be ok as long as the label matches the passenger.
if its for medication then yes
You'll have to get in touch with your airline. They might be able to make an exception in your case. A Dr's letter would be useful in your arguing!
only if it is a prescription with your name on it.
There are no liquids or gels allowed on the plane. Medications are allowed on the plane but only with Doctors Prescriptions. You can try to get a doctor to write you a letter on thier stationary and have the airline agents document the information i nthe record, but techinically, it's not allowed and they will not let you take it on board. It will all depend on the agent at the gate.
It has to be a prescription with your name on it. And you can't get some in France bc this is a global thing not just a UK. Flights in/out of US can't have lotions either
I'm afraid they are going to have you to squeeze the cream all over you before you have to board the plane . why? they want to make sure you use it. you know everyone in the security workfield are that desperate and paranoid these days.
I would be safe, and get a prescription, and make sure it has your full name on it as printed on your ticket. Screening agents at airport security do have some latitude, and you may get one who's in a generous mood, or you may get one who had a fight with his wife before coming to work and is just itching to bust someone. They'll almost certainly allow a prescription though.
i hird no shamop as well as skin cream as well as condinsha
Prescription medications are allowed, you may want to get a letter from your doctor. Also, yes medical medications of 4oz and under are allowed, please if any TSA says otherwise, ask for a supervisor and if it is ask for a screening manager, if all fails tell them to look it up in their SOP.
