Are there any proper deserted islands left that I could go and have a lie down on?

It is quite a distsnce away, but the Islands of Tonga are a great place for soluitude. You can stay on one of the bigger islands, but go and spend time on some of the small surrounding uninhabited ones. There is not much better than sitting under one of the trees with a good book and a totally deserted island beach.
If ever you get there, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Rockall !!
If it was deserted, then no one will be able to answer as they won't know about it.. think for a second..
No flan is a pieland
Don't know, but I could really do with getting away to somewhere like that.
we got one here in the middle of lake michigan.
plenty, but they are deserted for a reason. maybe no fresh water, unfarmable land, no huntable animals, loads of biting insects etc.
The bahamas has hundreds of islands. Many are deserted. Look into the Bahamian government's board of tourism. You may be able to camp out on one.
No a cheap option but the French Pacific has many small deserted islands - bliss !
Not as I know of but. You could try Long Key off the coast of Belize. Been there not a lot of people live there. just some ataps and a "bar" of sorts.
Yea fantasy island!

Hello. Pulau Hantu is a great island where you can go and have a lie down on. It's beautiful with a lagoon. =)
Just calm down. Slow down a little and take things slower. If things get worse, then trie to narrow things down. Just have fun, life is too short for stressing and worrying.
you can try here in the philippines wehave 7100 plus island! most of the island don't have name! you can hang out in one of them! specially the one towards the pacific ocean! check the google map.
Just one, and I`m on it. Will let you know if I leave.
There's no deserted islands but what about going to Pakistan ?.
There won't be anybody there as they're all over living in Britain.
If you have a desert island fantasy, head to Langkawi in Malaysia. The whole area is dotted with idyllic deserted islands, and you can go on a daytrip where you get dropped off with a wonderful picnic and spend the day there in total isolation.

Alternative, there's a wonderful little island just off Damai in Sarawak, Borneo - Sepang, I think it's called. I used to go on daytrips there when I was younger and we'd take crates of soft drinks, loads of ice, food and a stereo and just spend the day just chilling - lying on the beach, swimming in the sea. The Holiday Inn there will organise it for you - it's a great way to spend the day!
