What is the best way to get from charles de gaulle airport to the city centre of paris?

Answers:
The "best" way is via private car service. The next best would be via taxi. I would not want to be on a bus with my luggage, or fighting with the pickpockets in the train station. Via taxi, the price to Champs Elysees during a weekend non-peak time was around 40 Euros. However, if you are traveling during a peak rush hour time, the cost could be considerably more as the taxis charge per mile and if you are sitting in traffic.
by train or bus
train
Train. If you take a taxi the driver might scare you to death. They drive like maniacs!
The train system is pretty easy to understand
By underground. There's a subway station inside the airport where you can catch a train to the city centre
You follow the signs to the RER B line, which is a medium rail. That will take you into the city and connect you to the rest of Paris's expansive Metro system.

The following is from the official CDG site, but I've taken this myself. It's great.

RER B
- Terminal 1
Take Aéroports de Paris Shuttle Busses (line 2) gate 22, departure level until Roissypôle-Terminal 3
- Terminal 2A & 2B
Take Aéroports de Paris Shuttle Busses (line 3) at gate 8 of terminal 2A and gate 6 at terminal 2B until "TGV/RER "
- Terminal 2C & 2D
Follow "Paris par train"
- Terminal 2E & 2F
Follow "Paris par train"
- Terminal 3
Take the footpath (about 250 m ) and follow "Paris par train"
Aéroports de Paris Shuttle Busses.
Le Metro!
loads of buses too.
Train or bus,
you can also take a taxi
From CDG airport is a bus, every 15 minutes (in July it was 8.50 euros/ticket), very comfortable and it goes very close to the Garnier Opera, just in the center of Paris. The way it's about 45-50 minutes.
it is located about 45 minutes away by taxi. There are coaches that go from the airport to the city centre. They go to various places and all the train stations. the information desk in the main airport hall are helpful in telling you where to go or get off. you buy your ticket in the airport main hall and all the coaches are located just outside the door.
if you have the money to burn, taxi and get a mini-tour. otherwise, take the tain. easy, clean, quick and gets you right to city center. who could ask for more? oh, do get a return if you plan to go back to CDG. makes life easier. au revoir.
Take the roissy bus. it Departs from CDG and leaves you next to Opera Garnier (heart of the city). It takes about 40-60mins & it runs every 15 mins. it is very convenient & even has compartments for your luggage that way you do not need to be carrying them or have them in the way
