Can you suggest an interesting destination for a weeks holiday?
Looking to go sometime in Jan/Feb 2007. Would like somewhere interesting, reasonably warm and not too expensive.
Answers:
Try Morocco.
Fairly warm this time of year and a fasinating place.
Depends on here you are at. if you are in the states, a snowboarding or ski ing trip would be fun. somewhere warm is not to many places (I am in Florida at it was mid 40s yesterday morning when I got off of work) this time of year.
Goa is the best I can come up with. Flights are pretty cheap. Accommodation can be very cheap. Hardly need any spending money while there. People are lovely, weather boiling. It's a long flight for a weeks holiday but you have to leave europe in the winter if you want the sun.
Come to Trinidad for Carnival 2k7, the weather is hot but the fiestas are even hotter.
I don,t know where u r,but the Hill Country,is a fun place to go(Bandera Texas)is a resort town ,has bars, dancing,Shopping, antiques. and lots of dude ranches..lots of eating places/It looks like an old western town.they still have post outside the bars to tie your horses. There is also Beautiful lake Medina,New brunsful isn,t far from there and you can go tubing down the river.Lots of intersting places to go,and they also cater to bikers, motorcycles also..The biker rallies also take place there,Get on the net and look it up..
Azores, Portugal, undiscovered jewels!

I live in the US and have never travelled to another country. But there is so much here in the States.
Disney World in Florida (along with many other wonderful attrations) Florida is pretty warm in Jan/Feb compared to New England (where I live)
I would also consider Arizona, or Texas, or Las Vegas, Nevada. California has so much to offer.
Alas, I will be spending January & February probably shoveling snow out of my driveway & walkway. Oh, well. Enjoy your trip, wherever you decide to go!
Alone? With family? West Africa is reasonably priced for one week between £350-400 flight inclusive, taxes etc, some nice easy on the purse bargains to be had, tours for a day from £25 per day beach, towns, countryside, open national parks, temperatures warmish-80`s a great choice of food from around the world including English if you miss home cooking.Depending where you live can be reached without going to London for flight,no jet lag either.
try Malaysia or Bangkok.ask me anything if u wanna know more about Malaysia..
