Need a cheap but good hotel/b+b in edinburgh?
Answers:
Traveller's Inn, 22 Annandale Street, Edinburgh
From £7.50/night, £49/week
Travellers' Inn (web search Highlander Backpackers) is the cheapest place to stay in central Edinburgh. It has a great atmosphere due to the attitude of the staff and the guests we attract. The lounge rocks, the courtyard is unique. Why is it so cheap? It is an old building, the carpets aren't new and we can't compete with the new hostels with televisions in every room. But we're constantly upgrading the Inn and the whole place is cleaned at 1030 every day, and the shower rooms and toilets again in the evening. It is a clean and fun choice for travellers who want a great home base whilst exploring Edinburgh. The Travellers' Inn is cheap accommodation for backpackers, explorers, tourists and travellers on a budget, moreover the profits go to charity.

Elder Guest house is a B and B but it is absolutely beautiful and has very friendly staff oh and the breakfast is lovely. It is right in the centre of Edinburgh. 2 minutes walk from princess street, a comedy club, casino and loads of pubs and clubs. What more could you ask for.

Forget Edinburgh, get a good B&B or Hotel in Portobello for half the price of the city centre. 10 mins on bus from Edinburgh.
