Which is the longest village in England?

hey I know this one, its Combe martin in north devon. The village is approx. three miles long and follows a road down a valley near the sea it has roughly eleven pubs all along the high street great for a pub crawl.

The largest village in England is Braunton, AGAIN, in north devon , how weird is that! Braunton is about 8 miles from combe martin.
Not sure but I have clocked Bretforton (worcs) at nearly 2 miles!
Long Melford in Suffolk, Chailey in East Sussex and Spalding in Lincolnshire all claim to be the longest village in England. Sorry I couldn't narrow it down further.
The largest village in England is Cottingham in East Yorkshire. Not sure about the longest though.

Dunno but mansfield woodhouse notts is pretty big. Its got 15pubs.
