in 1995 I went travelling for a year. I went to Oz. I came back and was happy at the thought of coming back, but I found it very difficult to settle back at home again. I took off a few months later to the Channel Islands for 6 months and that helped settle me back to western world. No, i don't wish i had never come back, although I probably had those kind of thoughts fleetingly at the time, as I remember returning to the embassy to find out about how to get a residents visa.
I am still traveling, now in Thailand, for years, traveled all over europe for over 5 years!
i spent a few years traveling.wish i can stay traveling but needed to get a real job. favourite place i been to was eritrea: asmara was such an amazing city and made me feel like home.

I've just turned 35,but just before i turned 23,i went for a year working and travelling around australia.It was the best year of my life.I sometimes regret coming back,and i definitely wish i'd done more long term travelling since.I've been abroad for a week or 2 weeks at a time but you can't beat what i call proper travelling.I'd recommend it to any young person.
my brawd and his ex, mistress bit ch, went 4 about 8 months, but no i haven't. oh, by the way, brawd is brother in Welsh.
I went travelling around eastern europe and the whole of russia. I want to live in russia permanently eventually so decided to come home (to London), do a degree and get qualified to do something interesting in russia.
Coming home has been an adjustment. I really miss the feeling of being in a new place, experiencing new things and not knowing what will happen next. The last few months have been tough, to be honest.
