Brighton is good for a weekend, its got some great hotels and restaurants and the beach for romantic midnight strolls.

U may see a strange thing in a kilt.
Brighton is great and it looks like the weather is going to be nice this weekend. Its not too far either. If you don't mind distance then I hear Hawaii is nice this time of year.
Bath

Manor Hotel
4 star good rates for friday and saturday night bookings town a short taxi away

fantastic place to stay for short break
If you can afford plane/train fares, try Scottish Highlands, Lake District North Yorkshire Moors. If going by car, there's the whole South-east coast.
I will go for Brighton too, or look at last minute offers from your local airport. I just got back from Paris and it was amazing.
Cornwall
Norfolk Broads
Cotswolds
Eastbourne
Oxford
Cambridge
Canterbury
Isle of Wight

I'd do Cambridge or Canterbury personally - lovely (peaceful) cities surrounded by countryside - good in any weather!
Ryder Cup, Ireland.
If you fancy something different, then I would recommend Tallinn in Estonia. Its beautiful and not very expensive.
depends on what you like if you like sceneries then go to wales or lake district if you like cities then go to newcastle upon tyne, theres bit of everything there, really nice place, hope you have a nice time wherever you go,and most of all hope the weather is good.
Florence.or Venice..
Hi I would go to the Norfolk Broads, but then it depends on your age?

It is so relaxing there, watching the boats go buy and having evening meals by the river edge.
And the people are so friendly there too.

I am 32 and my husband is 41 and I have two children and we love it there.

But if you want to travel what about Paris or Italy?
Depends on your interests really, and do you want quite break .If you have a car you can take your pick loads of places along south coast see were car takes you. There is always Paris for short break cheap flights abound Wherever you decide enjoy the break its great getting away for weekend if you can.Good luck with choice & make sure you plan it ok as being only two day break you need travel arrangements to go smoothly.Enjoy!
