I confess that I lived in many places and was happy in all of them!

The only exception to this was when I moved to Wimborne, Dorset, and found the worst people on the planet.

Once again I've returned to happiness, now that I'm living in a small English village, with wonderful neighbours (apart from one old b.h, but then not everything is perfect!).
Sydney Australia - my hometown. It's wonderful here.
bridlington on the Yorkshire coast..its like going back to the seventies.people are great..
Earth, oxygen is so plentiful here.
I'm from Derbyshire, and love the dales and get back as often as I can. But I currently live in Clifton, Bristol, not far from the famous suspension bridge. I think it's a great place, lots of history and beautiful architecture, but the best thing is that twenty minutes stroll over the bridge puts you deep into rural Somerset countryside, twenty minutes the other way puts you in the heart of a major city - best of both worlds! (And the Cider, natch!)
The best place I've ever lived is Okemos,Michigan,USA.So quiet and peaceful there. Now I live in Frankfurt,Germany. It's not bad here but I miss my Okemos
im a Geordie so it has to be Newcastle, ive also lived in Mansfield,Notts. which isnt a bad place , but 'The Toon' is still the place to be .. amazing nightlife and being modernised every day
I'm in Hawaii now for 15 years and I think it is the most culturally diverse place I have ever been. The crime rate is incredibly low because you can't get off this rock if you do a crime and the people are awsome
Malibu, California. Peaceful, unlike other parts of Los Angeles. The beach is a plus also..
I presently live in Washington state, and really like it here. The climate is moderate, and I am close to Seattle, so I have the advantages of a large city, but live in a smaller town a few miles to the east, so I don't have to deal with a lot of the problems of city life. The western part of the state is beautiful and green, and I'm close to both mountains and ocean - I couldn't ask for a nicer place!
Southern Louisiana, food is the best
Glasgow.
i was born in south England..too hot and grubby.
in Glasgow you
never get sun stroke , can get to anywhere fast, people are great.wonderful mix of ethnic peoples.plenty of water. lots of parks and trees.all the best shops . international airport 15 minutes from city centre. many more reasons
Lake Tekapo, in the southern alps of New Zealand. It is a small town on the edge of a glorious aqua-blue glacier fed lake in the middle of the mountains.

Whichever way you look, no matter what the weather - it is so beautiful there it takes your breath away.

The people are friendly and welcoming as well.

Have a look at the images on the link below. None of them really compare to being there though.
Buenos Aires.

The people of Argentina are the friendliest, the food and the wine are great - and you feel a planet away from the dog-eat-dog mentality of the Anglo-Saxon speaking world.
I lived in several places (Netherlands, Eastern Europe, UK & Spain) and it honestly doesn't really matter where I live. As long as I have decent digs, enough money to pay the bills and most importantly friends and/or family nearby.
I live in North Shields, about 8 miles east of Newcastle. It's absolutely amazing, because it's a ferry port and fishing town, so you can imagine the mix of people here. There is Tynemouth Priory and Castle, and it's only a few miles away from other historical places like Hadrian's Wall- Roman forts, archaeological sites-Warkworth Castle, Alnwick Castle (where Harry Potter was filmed) The beaches along the coast are absolutely breath-taking (quite literally, when it's windy!) Plus there are loads of other attractions in Newcastle, apart from the nightlife-fabulous museums, the Millennium bridge, the Centre for Life. I could never get bored here, but I would love to visit Cornwall one day, I've always wanted to go there! :)
