Girls - What do you prefer Irish men or English men and why?

Ive never tried either one, but I think I might prefer an Irish man as long as he was not a major drunk.

Neither. Sorry but I find that the majority of them have over inflated ego's. A lot of Irish men love the sound of their own voices too much and many English men have that ignorant quality.
Of course there are exceptions.every country has it's share of great guys!
Dear boy, we just love men. It's an accent thing. The Irish have a bad reputation for befriending the bottle and the English have a bad rep for poor oral hygiene. I happen to be of Scottish decent and our men have the rep for things with sheep, you know. LOL Honestly, it doesn't matter. If you are a great guy, we are going to LOVE you!! All the Irish men I have met apart from 1-2 have the famous temper! So English it is, but show me another and I'll have to try him and see!!hehehe

I have been married to an Irishman the last 15 years,so I really have no choice but to say Irish men.
If you've never been dirty-talked with an Irish accent, you haven't truly lived.
However, because of the "proper" reputation that English guys have, when THEY get dirty, it's a lovely surprise as well.
So, the long and the short of it is that I can't choose. Can't we have both?
I'm English so I mostly date English guys but there's no denying Irish accents are sexy, but what if you woke up one morning and found yourself lying next to Brian McFadden of Westlife fame? That's a scary prospect.

I'm Irish and I think Irishmen are best. They are great craic but when you are Irish ,too, you get the humour. This doesn't happen with other nationalities and you are all the time explaining the quirky Irish sense of humour. So, for Irish women, Irish men are best. I've never really fancied an Englishman. Don't like the accents. Except for the Liverpool one, of course. The Geordie's not bad either!
