Any inexpensive parking options at Manchester airport?
I am going away on the 10th until the 25th of December. To park at the airport is £130+, to park 20mins away and get a coach to the airport is about £80, but last time I did something like that I was waiting around for a long time, Does anyone have any tips on the best parking deals?? Thanks (am coming from Liverpool)

Make sure your fully comp and leave it a few hundred yards away in Whythenshawe,it's sure to get stolen, taken apart and burnt.Your insurance should cover it and include the cost of a hire car.
I don't know if this is an option in the UK, but usually when I'm faced with paying exorbitant parking fees, I just rent a car for a day and drive myself to the airport, even if it's a one-way rental. Always ends up cheaper, and I have no car to worry about.
Put your car into a local garage for a windscreen wiper replacement. It should cost about £10. Ask if they can drop you off at work (the airport). Tell them you will pick it up in two weeks. Get a Taxi from the airport to the garage when you return. Total cost about £30.
book into the Bramall county lodge. its about £50 for the night & comes with 15 days free parking. airport transfer taxi was about £7. try booking through superbreaks. or it might av been the Bramall legacy.
just had a quick look and parking starts from 45 quid for those dates..check here for more details
Hi!
Wouldn't a taxi be the cheapest option?
Sorry, I can't help you with parking - have always either got a lift or a taxi.
Best of luck, and have a great trip!

I was "dragged up" in Wythenshawe and the answer is soooo true!!
I live in Gatley now (ahem) and you can park at mine for £129
Ask a Friend or Relative to take and pick you up. Even if you give them £20 a time it will work out cheaper, they can also keep a eye on your car for you
