Where is the best place to sit on a bus if its about to crash? where would be the safest place? Just a very curious person

I'd want to sit on the back.. If it was going head first.. front would get squeshed and not the best place to be sitting.. course.. if it did a U-turn in mid air, the back wouldn't be either soo..
the middle.. isle seat, away from the glass in any window and if I remember my "school bus safety" days, there is a emergency exit somewhere in the middle of the bus..
I would say at the back near a pole. You wouldn't have people piling on top of you from behind and you could grab onto the pole.
