What is the best thing about Scotland?
Tell me what you like about Scotland? I am from Stirling (famous for the movie Braveheart and its history)

I would have to say, the freindliness of the people, the beauty of the open country and the islands and the peace and tranquility such as cannot be found anywhere else in the UK!

Engineering. Everywhere I've ever worked, there has always been a Scottish Engineer in charge. Even Captain Kirk had one on the Enterprise!
The people, and our dislike of England, its very funny. A lot of English dont recognise us cos they are above thier station but everyone loves the Scots
Oh yeah, Braveheart. That's the fictional fantasy film they shot in Ireland, with an Australian actor in the lead role reanacting the Battle of Stirling Bridge, but without the bridge. Or a river. Sort of in a big, flat field. History, eh. You just can't beat it.

The people are friendly,the views amazing,the roads free from speed bumps in the places ive been to anyway,the lochs nice and cold on a warm day,the midge's a pest and the chips let the whole country down... there bad.but other than that a great place
