Tomorrow is my first fly and I'm a little beat scared hoe can i beat my fear of flying?

Answers:
Flies are everywhere so beating your fear of them is going to be hard, it is amazing that you have waited so long to encounter your first fly, have you been living in a bubble?? Now you know that beating a fly with a hoe is not the way to kill them, you must use a flyswatter, newspaper or raid spray and that usually works much better than beating them with a hoe, use the hoe for your gardening chores. I am sure that as soon as you realize that you are much bigger and smarter than flies you will overcome your fear of flies. Good Luck

I am so sorry, did you mean you have a "fear of flying" well the best way to overcome that is to drive.
err smile pretend your not!
dont worry about it ,how many plane crashes do you hear about ,and compare it to cars
get so excited about first flight you will forget to be scared.
get a tamagotchi
JUST GO FOR IT. IF IT'S YOUR TURN TO GO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU ARE. FLYING IS SAFER THAN DRIVING!
its like getting on a train just remember if it crashes you dead and it will be very painfull
checkin early, then sit at thre bar drinkng double vodkas
Hopefully you won't actually be scared when you get on the plane. I thought I'd be scared but when I'd boarded my first plane I got all excited instead and really enjoyed it. Try to be optimistic - good luck!
Try and think exactly what it is that you are afraid of - most probably about the plane crashing, but remember that more people die in accidents in their homes, or in car crashes than in flying accidents. Once you have got over all the hanging around in the airport, you will find that flying is OK, quite boring in fact, so buy a good paperback in the airport shops once you have checked in and you will probably have finished it by the time you arrive at your destination. Have a great time.
you can't beat it, so just relax, flying is safer than car or coach or train travel as the plane won't take off if they are in any doubt and will land at an alternative airport if there is any concern that you cannot reach your destination safely - most "accidents" by land traffic are caused by negligence and shouldn't be called accidents
Console yourself with these thoughts, if you crash on take off your sitting on 100 tons of fuel, you'll be incinerated in the blink of an eye.

If your at cruising altitude (about 4 miles) its about minus 65 out there, if the wings fall off and the plane breaks up you'll freeze to death long before you hit the ground at 500mph.

If you have a major failure and the oxygen masks drop, you're then taking panic breaths of pure oxygen, before long you'll be high as a kite and wont give a rats that you're about to be spread over an area a few miles long.
its the safest form of transport there is.
I was scared before my first flight but once I got to the airport I was fine. Everything was so strange that the fear just left. Hope you feel the same , now I love flying and always try and get a window seat [ and my real fear is heights!!]. Everyone always says that flying is the safest form of transport but it doesnt seem like that when you're worried. Try and remember this. Radio Times this week-odds of a flight crashing are 11,000,000 to 1 and should there be a plane crash more than 95% of people survive. So calm down and take it in your stride and try to ENJOY it most of all. Think about where you're going ,look out the window if possible or just sit and examine/enjoy/puzzle over the meal, watch a film or read. Have a fantastic holiday, this could be the start of many!
get calms from chemist and a good puzzle book to keep your mind ocupied
have fun x
You are not flying, the pilot is! You are sitting in a room full of people reading a magazine or watching a movie, or chatting. It is no different from taking a train or a bus. It is far more comfortable, far less crowded, so much quicker and certainly the safest way to travel. I`ve flown in areos from a two-seater Cessna to Concorde, there is no experience like it! To-morrow will be the best day of your life, ENJOY it!
try and read a newspaper/book
Me and my family all flew for the 1st time in June this year, from the moment we booked the holiday(about 7 months before),my 12 year old had been petrified,on the way to Manchester airport he kept crying in the car,but i can honestly say when we landed he said i cant wait untill the holidays over,so i said why,and he said i cant wait to go back on the plane,we all loved it,its amazing looking out of the window, once you get to the airport youll be fine i promise you.you wont beable wait to fly again.
Ever hear of the 11 crutial minutes????
99.9% of all accidents on a plane happen 4 minutes after take off and 7 mins before landing!
so you should be safe after that! LOL
Just go through with it. And then you'll say "It's not as bad as I thought it was."
