Thinking of a Skiing holiday in 07, Canada or America, anywhere special anyone can recommend.?
Answers:
Colorado has great snow. Utah has really good powder.
More importantly is when NOT to go skiing in the US.
Do not go skiing over Christmas holiday or during spring break which is usually the 2nd-3rd week in March.
Ask the question again telling when you are going and what level skier you are and you will get better answers. Also, do you want to stay in a condo and cook your own meals or stay in a town with more activities? And family oriented or just adults?

Go to Colorado. within a few miles you can be skiing in several great resorts. Aspen, Vail, Mary Jane, Steamboat Springs.
So many great places - where to start with recommendations?
British Columbia, Canada - Whistler Blackcomb. Probably the best ski resort in North America; a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. They have heli-drops available too (that's where you get dropped to the top of a peak by a helicopter).
In Canada, Blue Mountain north of Toronto is wonderful, special. In America, Telluride Colorado is great, as well as the Poconos in Pennsylania or Seven Springs.
Aspen is too crowded (also Colorado) but is beautiful.
You'll have a great time, it's a lot of fun!
Whistler is a particular favourite of mine - great skiing.
