In what time of the year it does very cold there in England?
They say that there in England does very cold in a time of the year, they say that in that time is so cloudy that the people cannot see a meter ahead. I am asking for an information there about the cold in the united kingdom, because, I am intending to travel to know that country.

You from Mexico ? Lol. It's cold 9 months out of the year. Not cold as in freezing, but it's Grey, rainy and windy. Very depressive weather. I'd advise you to bring your own coffee with you as well to warm yourself up.
Yes it can get cold in the UK and often does but unfortunately in this world of greenhouse gasses and global warming, you can't tell like you used to when I was younger.
However it's safe to say that it can get really cold in November to February but that really depends. We've had some warm winters and some cold summers. At the moment it's not too bad, although it was really cold a couple of nights ago but tonight it's pretty ok at almost 5 in the morning.
As for fog, we don't get so much of that these days either. It can happen and yes, sometimes it's very thick that you can hardly see your hand infront of your face but I wouldn't worry about it. It won't spoil your visit I'm sure. :)
Sorry can't be more specific but I hope it helps. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
What part of the UK will you be visiting and for how long if I may ask?
It is funny what ideas people have of England.. at the turn of the last century we had very thick fogs when you couldn't see about a metre ahead of you, not anymore though..
as for the weather, well it is beginning to turn cold now, its about 10c outside at the moment, it wont be long before we have the first frosts in the morning.

Why not try Scotland? The weather is fowl but the people are warm :-)
It depends what you mean by cold, but it doesn't often get much below 0 centigrade in England, other than in a few hilly areas like the Lake District.
It used to get so foggy that you couldn't see a meter ahead in England in the days of coal fires, which generated a lot of dirty soot in the air, that doesn't happen now, although sometimes it is rather damp and grey.
Most people in England live in towns and cities, where the weather is not going to worry you much.
