Me too. Me too. I am an American who is teaching English in Japan. I came to work out here so I could travel in an area that I've never been before. You might want to think about that. Get a job in a different area, save up your money and travel to new places in that area. Traveling is a wonderful thing and it all makes us better people.

one word of advice, well more than one actually, always rely on your gut feelings, no matter where you are, if you think someone feels dangerous, then get away, because they probably are even if they are not acting like it, your gut knows, listen to it!
Try China, they need English teachers by the bucket load. The wages aren't much, but accommodation is free. China is so cheap to live in. The people are very friendly and your bound to enjoy being there.
Then do it! Get off your fat lazy **** and take a **** job. Anything to get your air ticket and enjoy. Thhe world truly is wonderful place.
