What is the cheapest way for two people to get to Thailand and back?
Any options considered aside from walk/run/cycle/drive/etc.
Answers:
Search through the London bucket shops.
You will find some cheap tickets.
Another possible way is to look at courier flights.
Some companies like DHL will have cheap tickets if you agree to go with no luggage, and let them have your luggage allowance, but I don't know the details.
You can stuff a couple of T-shirts and shorts in your hand luggage.
Stowaway? Swim?
Hitch hike?
You said cheapest, not safest.
Flying carpet.

Hitching a lift. preferably on a passing plane.
Sneak into some cargo holds.ship or plane. Make sure you get oxygen and/or dress warm.
See your local drug baron and tell him your plans I am sure he will pay for a return trip ??

check on the last minute all in package deals with hotels , you can get some very low prices , you don't need to stay in the hotel either, just use the plane, alternatively get a visa sorted and get a one way ticket ( you cant get visa on entry if you don't have a return flight apparently) Then buy your return from Thailand, usually works out cheaper.
If your paying 700 quid for two tickets i think your gonna have problems getting a better price than that.
