Even if it does I doubt it will be anything like the programme is.

Tobermory, Isle of Mull, Scotland.

Your journey starts here i think:

Have Fun :-)
Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull was selected for the Children's T.V programme Balamory, because of its beautiful location, and, more importantly, its multi-coloured houses. The theme of the programme is based around what happens in and around each coloured house.

Above is the White House where P.C. Plum lives in the story Balamory is currently being shown on 'CBeebies' on B.B.C. Many of the coloured houses actually exist and are positioned in, and around, the town of Tobermory. However, because the main studios are down in Glasgow, the Nursery School shots are taken there. Also the castle belonging to Archie, the inventor is not on the island and is at Fenton Tower in North Berwick.

Otherwise, most of the filming was done live in Tobermory, with the help of our own Nursery group, fire crew, local attractions and businesses.
One of the main attractions used for the filming (second series) was Mull Narrow Gauge Railway. The railway is not in Tobermory itself, but is near to the ferry at Craignure, and runs between the ferry and Torosay Castle. (not pink sadly)
i just wanted to add i doubt you will see it being filmed anymore. i heard they had stopped it altogether now. maybe an idea to contact the tourist information at Tobermory to ask them about places to stay and also if they do make the series also will be worth ringing them to see what other things there are to do there. the last thing you want is hours of traveling to get there and nothing to do. good luck
local to us is the fire engine they used in balamory ..now being used as a novelty limo - party fire-engine lol
If you don't end up going just tell them before they go to bed "Close your eyes really tiet and when you full asleep you will be in balamoey", tell them that you can have more fun in your dreams for example you can fly there. : ))

I know i didn't really answer you question but i supose you could give it a go if worse comes to the worse and you don't go Good Luck! : ))
Tobermory isle of Mull, get there? drive up to glasgow, once there pick up A82 Gt Western Rd--North to A85 &Oban there you look across the water to Tobermory, you'll catch a ferry across, how much? to tell you the truth i've no idea but what you spend a week in London will last you 1 week in glasgow & 2 north of Glasgow, depends on how long you intend to stay i'd bring about £5-600 stay in b/b. see it filmed doubt it! best time to come? unless you like the cold i'd avoid winter, but then summer (compaired to London)can feel like your winter. hope that helps, good luck
You have to ask Jackanori! x
I am pretty sure it is on the Isle of Mull (just off the coast of Oban) in the Western Isles of Scotland. Think Ballamory is Tobermory. Just put Tobermory in a search engine and you should find out.
