No!! Not with Ryanair anyway. I live in Dublin and my family is in Wales and I go there every other month. You only need valid photo id (drivers lisence or national id card)
Not if your flying from Northern Ireland, photo ID, credit card & driving licence will do.

If you are an English resident then you should be able to travel on the UK drivers license, if you are a foreign national then you will need a passport!

I know an awful lot of Irish people, some have lived here for decades and others not so long. I've never heard one of them mention having to have a passport though to travel from southern Ireland you may need a visa.

You need a passport or valid driving licence if flying(for security reasons), but if travelling by boat you dont need any id.
