Can i go to thailand in january 2007? passport expires august 2007?
Answers:
I would prefer to have more than 6 months, because so many people plan to come for 1 month and then stay 6 months.
you need +6 months on it
it has to have 6 - 12 mths left on it.
time for a new one
Doubtful
Check on the UK passport site. They have lots of info about which countries you need to have a certain amount of months left before expiry on your passport. It used to be 6 months for some and 10 mnths for others. Otherwise you could drop them an email or ring the helpline. Good luck xxx
Purly a guess, but yes??
You could but if you apply for a new one the time left will be added on so you don`t lose out better safe than sorry in case you are held up for any reason,God forbid.
sure you can ..
yes, go, have fun! just make sure you don't stay past your expiration, or just renew it before you leave.
So long as you have at least 6 months left when you leave Thailand and the appropriate visa to enter, you should be ok. As a sidenote, you can apply for a new passport 9 months before your current passport expires - they simply add the 9 months onto the nex passport.
i was ok last time i went for a month and got about 5 months on my passport..but if u go for long,u should change it for safety!hope this help
other answers are right u'l need 6months left on ur passport, U'l love it - a fab place to go.
Sure. The math works out fine.
yes no problem but when you get there go to your embassy to renew it ,it will take only 1 hour well worth it versers doing it back home ,bring your 2x2 photos with you
Yes, I went with just over 6 months left once. U.S. passport. Though of all things the airline questioned it. I had to get an exemption even though I had a return ticket that was dated a week down the road. I had no problems in thailand. If you are that worried you know you are going to have to renew it soon. Just renew it and the worry is gone.
Yes - you have six months remaining so you will be fine.
how long you going for? need more info
Most countries usually require that you have a minimum of 6 months validity on your passport when you enter.
Never understand why there is no additional 6 months validity period included if this is the case, as you will not be able to use the passport should it reach into the last 6 months! You will not be able to travel with it at all!
Passport with at least 6 months validity required (as in most countries). Should not be a problem. Why not play safe and have your passport extended?
100% no problem
yes
Get real--of course you can if your passport is still valid.
