In what COUNTY is the small island of anglesy in england?
Answers:
It's in Wales.
Well, just off the coast actually.
england is a country!
Anglesey is a county itself - and it's Welsh, not English
If Anglesy is in england and Anglesy is an county, does that mean that england is in Wales?
It is in Wales and is a county in its own right
Anglesy and Holyhead are both Islands and Countys which are on the North West Wales Coast line.
I hope you don't live in the UK!
The Island of Anglesey is a County in its own right in WALES.
It is known as Ynys Mon in Welsh, and Mon Mam Cymru - The Mother of Wales because at one time it was the food grown on Anglesey that fed Wales when times were bad.
There are lots of web sites which give you information about the Island and what it can offer.
Angelsey is a COUNTY in it's own right. And it's in WALES and NOT England.
I HATE THIS TYPE OF IGNORANCE! ANGLESEA IS NOT IN ENGLAND , IT'S IN WALES, KNOWN IN WELSH AS YNYS MON, pronounced moan. it's the holy island of the Celtic druids, where the last of the druids were massacred by the Romans, because they were so afraid of them. Please in future remember that Wales like Scotland, Northern Ireland and England are part of the UK not England. thank you
Anglesy is a county in Wales nothing to do with England
Apart from your error/insult of stating that Anglesy being in England (BOTH with capital initials please - they're proper names), how many people can't distinguish between the word County and CountRy!
i agree with most people anglesea is a county inits own right and is also knowen as yns mon
As a resident of Anglesey, I'm outraged! Have you seen a map of Anglesey? Do the names of all those towns and villages look English to you! Anglesey is an island just off the North Wales coast.
Anglesey is NOT in England, but Wales.
It is in "Ynws Mon"
Anglesey is not in England
